Back in the day when the 24-bit Nintendo was popular, I remember playing Super Mario Brothers 2. Arguably the best game for the Nintendo gaming system. Well now its back and it has a new title. Super Mario Advance gets my vote for the best GBA launch title. Its the same classic scrolling gameplay with a few new visual improvements. Is basically the same game as the original, but its now on a handheld system. Also on the GBA horizon looms Super Mario Brothers 3. Again it will be a remake of the older classic, but hopefully it will be just as good as Super Mario Advance.

I spent so much time with Mario 2 back in the day that I could finish the game blindfolded. The ending was so good that it nearly brought me to tears. Ok, maybe i'm exaggerating slightly, but I consider Mario 2 to be one of my favorite games of all time, so its no surprise that I love Super Mario Advance. If youve never played the it, its one of the best 2D platforms out there. Battle mode is extremely fun. Just wait until you hook up your link cable and play a little mutiplayer with your friends. Thats when you'll discover that SMA is the most frantic, choatic, laugh-out-loud-fun party game-on the-go-yet! Must have for all you GBA owners.
